1. Word Nerd – Submit, at most, 20 word nerd slips for a total of 20 extra credit points 2 weeks before the semester ends. (My suggestion: 10 word nerd slips per quarter; see Word Nerd Challenge in "Extra Credit" box)
2. US History Essays – Submit 1 paragraph from your US History paper that includes up to 4 examples of the grammar rules learned in American Literature. (See document above for more details)
3. Grammar and Essay Reteaches/Rewrites – Mostly offered in class. Use your time wisely to do a better job the 2nd time around.
4. Vocab Quiz Retakes: After every three vocab quizzes, you will have the opportunity to retake your lowest scores.
